Tenure Track Assistant Professor (Ph.D.)/Instructor (Masters) teaching Current Issues in Family Diversity, Field Experience in Child Care, and various other Family Science and Early Childhood Education and Care courses. The position requires scholarship and service (e.g., advising Family and Child Studies majors, collaborating in the writing of Program Quality Improvement Reports and Program Reviews for the BS in Family and Child Studies program, and performing necessary recruitment and retention activities for the BS Family and Child Studies program) in addition to excellent teaching for retention, promotion, and tenure. Each faculty member teaches 12 hours per semester. Availability August 2012.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Master's degree in Family and Consumer Science or a related field with documented intention to obtain a terminal degree.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Preference will be given to candidates who are ABD or possess a Ph.D. in Family and Consumer Science, Human Development and Family Science, or a related field with a specialty in Family and Child Development.
