As most of you know, craft supplies can be a headache to store.? Although I thought my storage idea in our Ikea tubs was going to be suitable, it has proven disastrous.? Glitter, beads, sequins, pipe cleaners, shells?everywhere!? I decided it was time to get ?organised?.? Oooo, I love that word?.organise!
Ruby and I spent a morning in the Green Room rearranging the craft supplies.? I purchased some inexpensive screw top clear plastic containers in various sizes from Kmart.? Originally I wanted to use some secondhand glass jars from the op shop, but I was concerned about Poppy and breakage?? I chose to use clear containers so the kids can see what?s inside {no labelling required} and hopefully items will be returned to their correct container. The second part to our carft organising came from the Enchanted Homeschooling Mom.? I used two plastic suspension file boxes to sort out our paper.? One box houses construction paper and the other speciality papers {coloured cardboards, primary ruled paper, scrapbooking papers, corrugated card etc.}? Now when the kids are looking for a particular colour, we don?t have to sift through a mountain of mixed paper.
It?s nice to easily see what crafty bits?n'bobs we have to work with.? Here are a few more ideas to organise your space!
