It is a "faith based" system. The assumption is that there will always be ample liquidity from the holders of cash to roll over everything without a hiccup. At the moment there is not much faith in that system.

Why should I have faith in a country thay I was born in, which my finance degree is not be used as a career? Why should I try to earn a MBA and take upon more debt, then our real unemployment is near 20%? I am 28 and it seems like I will be miserable to the day I die. What a disgrace.
WHY IS CORN HITTING ANOTHER HIGH and why is are real unemployment rate at 20%? Corn about to hit $ 7, according to cnn futures.
More and more college kids cannot get into an internship and they have to work at low wage jobs, not related to their degree. This is just an utter disgrace and things for main street have not recovered since 2007. The stocks are recoverng on a nominal basic, but America is turning into a cesspool.

Should you have faith America? Yes. Economies go up and down. It sucks but it can?t always be *awesome* all the time. Things will get better?eventually.
Should you have faith in the people running America? Hell no, these people are only looking out for themselves!
